That model actually had Cycle Pro, or SE stickers on it. Then, the Tange model is a super close match, but, skinner at the shoulder, and a less rounded dropout. The only real difference appears to be the sticker. But, there are 3 forks with the same dropout (and shoulder width), as shown above. That goes a bit contrary to info/timeline I've read, indicating Scot was involved in the design of the RI style fork to be the SE fork for the JU-6. But, he then continued to make his fork through 1984, and due to his relationship with Scot, he popped out some RI style CPs or SE/BMXI forks, or stickered them with existing sticker stock. Cycle Pro then moved that fork design over to Tange, who started in 79 (I have a 9A stamped Tange Cycle Pro). and some frame manufacturers made their own forks using Tange tubesets. Eventually, his capacity went to SE, so, he quit doing Cycle Pro stuff. Keeping BMX history alive, one bike at a time Offline 2 3:57pm. This filled up his time/capacity till SE came along. My guess is, Bastian/RI started making his fork in 77, to go with the RA and RM models, and then Cycle Pro got involved, so, we then got the Spoiler and Cycle Pro sticker on the RI fork. I don't yet have an actual RI fork on hand, I do have the others (Tange and RI style Cycle Pro), but, if they are different, it's so subtle.
